1. In order to avoid the negative effect on the picture and sound of your equipment, make sure that the A/V cables are not very close to the power cable. Though it is not possible to separate the power electronic cable from the A/V cable completely, but there are many ways with which their interaction can be minimized. For example, as soon as the wires and cable are run out of the cabinet ensure that few inches apart from each other or at least try to keep them at right angles.

2. Do not make the mistake of buying short length of cables in order to save money as it can cause in excessive stretching of the center conductor or dielectric, thus resulting in expanding and damaging the wires fabrication. A little extra wire will not in any way harm your electronic component, but will allow you to route it neatly around corners or any other obstacle present.

3. It is important to maintain the round and curvy shape of the wires accessories, hence one should be careful about the kinds of nails and sharp ends of the cabinet. Even if by mistake, the wire or cable gets wrenched, then its performance will be affected. Similarly, cinching the cable too will prove hazardous.

4. Some of the most common place where you can hide your cable and wired from peeking out are – bundling the wire or anchoring the cables, running the wire along the wall to wall carpeting or baseboard, under carpeting the wires or placing them in a neatly designed cabinet or closet. The most effective way perhaps is to organize these cables and wire strippers behind the A/V cabinet.

Follow these basic tips and techniques to install these cables and wires of the electrical and electronic industry. These are the best tips that will help you in concealing your homes from the not so good looking dangling wires and cables.
